Information Required to Register a Company
Entity Section
The entity section is the first stage of myStake's company registration process. The entity section focuses on capturing key company details. This section requires the following information:
Company name | The legally registered name of your company, as per the certificate of registration of a company, provided by ASIC. |
Company ACN | The nine digit ACN of your company, as per the certificate of registration of a company, provided by ASIC. |
State of registration | The state or territory of registration of a company, as per the certificate of registration of a company, provided by ASIC. |
Company shortcode | This is a 2-4 letter code to represent the shares of the company. It is simply used to identify company shares within myStake. For example, the Australian Securities Exchange has a code of ASX. This code is defined by the user and is only used within myStake. |
Company address | This is the current registered address of the company that is registered with ASIC. |
Current share price | Enter the share price of the company. You can either enter the current share price, or the share price of the company when it was incepted. After company deployment, additional share prices can be added to be graphed over time. |
Officers Section
The officers section is the second stage of myStake's company registration process. Here you are able to add people that have executive roles within your organisation and invite them to use myStake. This section requires the following information:
Add officer | Choose invite a new user if you wish to add a new officer. |
Email address | Email address of the officer. |
First name | First name of the officer. |
Middle name | Middle name of the officer (optional). |
Last name | Last name of the officer. |
Confirm all roles held by the officer | Declare the role of the officer by checking the box (user can have multiple roles). |
Officer residential address | Current residential address of the officer. |
Date of birth | Date of birth of the officer. |
Birth place | The city of birth of the officer. |
Birth country | The country of birth of the officer. |
Birth state | The state of birth of the officer. |
Shares Section
The shares section is the third stage of myStake's company registration process. Here you are able to digitise shares to existing shareholders, which will generate new share certificates and replace their old ones. Shareholders can be either individuals, companies, trusts, or SMSFs. This section requires the following information:
Entity | The entity that will have their shares digitised. |
Are these shares beneficially held? | Beneficially held means that the owner of the shares gets the direct benefit from the shares. |
Quantity | The number of shares that will be digitised to the entity. |
Date | The date that the original shares were offered to the entity. |
First name (individual shareholders) | First name of the shareholder. |
Middle name (individual shareholders) | Middle name of the shareholder. |
Last name (individual shareholders) | Last name of the shareholder. |
Email address of the entity. | |
Purchase price | The price each original share was purchased. |
Class | Refers to the type of share being digitised. |
Trust name (for trust shareholders) | The legally registered name of the trust, as per the certificate of registration of the trust, provided by ASIC. |
Company secretary email (for corporate trustees and corporate shareholders) | The email address of the relevant company secretary. |
Company name (for corporate trustees and corporate shareholders) | The legally registered name of the company, as per the certificate of registration of the company, provided by ASIC. |
Company ACN (for corporate trustees and corporate shareholders) | The nine digit ACN of your company, as per the certificate of registration of a company, provided by ASIC. |
SMSF name (for SMSF shareholders) | The legally registered name of the SMSF, as per the certificate of registration of the SMSF, provided by ASIC. |
Billing Section
The billing section is the fourth stage of myStake's company registration process. The billing section allows you to choose a subscription period (either monthly or annually) for your company and link your company's subscription to a card of your choice.
Deploy Section
The deploy section is the final stage of myStake's company registration process. The deploy section allows you to add your company's logo and type a personal message that will be sent to all the users that you have invited to join your company on myStake.
