Advice Section

Your account must be linked to at least one company to view the Dashboard.
Your account must be linked to two or more companies to view the Companies page.
Your account must be the company secretary of the company to have access to the company's Advice tab.

Adding an Advisor

  1. Navigate to Companies (or to Dashboard, if there is no Companies button).
  2. Select the company of interest.
  3. Click the Admin tab. 
  4. Click the dropdown Advice tab.
  5. Click Add New Advisor.

  6. Here you are able to either add a current user of myStake that is a stakeholder of the company or invite a new user as an advisor if they do not have a myStake account.
  7. Once you have filled out the required fields click Add Advisor.


  8. Once this is done has been done an email and a notification will be sent to alert the newly appointed advisor and their name will appear in the Advice section.

Managing Suggestions From Advisors

Note that an asterisk will appear next to the name of advisors that have put forward suggestions that are awaiting your approval.
  1. Navigate to Companies (or to Dashboard, if there is no Companies button).
  2. Select the company of interest.
  3. Click the Admin tab. 
  4. Click the dropdown Advice tab.
  5. Choose an advisor that you have appointed from this list and click the See Detail button next to their name. 

  6. Here you are able to view all of the suggestions that have been put forward by the advisor and can choose to either approve or reject them.

Note that advisors are unable to directly make changes to the company. The changes that they suggest will only take place if the company’s company secretary approves them.
