Shares Section

Your account must be linked to at least one company to view the Dashboard.
Your account must be linked to two or more companies to view the Companies page.
Your account must be the company secretary of the company to have access to the company's Shares tab.

How to Record the Share Price on myStake 

  1. Navigate to Companies (or to Dashboard, if there is no Companies button).
  2. Select the company of interest.
  3. Click the Admin tab. 
  4. Click the dropdown Shares tab.


  5. Scroll down to the Record Share Price section.
    Note that the share price is recorded in Australian dollars and to record a share price of A$5.20, enter “5.20”.
  6. Once you have filled in the required fields click Record Share Price.


  7. Once the share price has been recorded an email and a notification will be sent to alert the relevant personnel and the newly recorded share price will appear in both the Shares Info and Info sections. 

Note that the current share price will display the share price that was recorded with the share price date closest to the present day’s date. 

How to Digitise Existing Shares on myStake 

  1. Navigate to Companies (or to Dashboard, if there is no Companies button).
  2. Select the company of interest.
  3. Click the Admin tab. 
  4. Click the dropdown Shares tab.

  5. Scroll down to the Digitise Existing Shares section.


    Note that the share digitisation process should only be used for when transferring shares that currently exist (i.e. shares that were issued prior to your company being on myStake) over to myStake. If you wish to issue new shares to either an existing or new shareholder, then use the Offer New Shares option. 
  6. Select the type of entity you wish to digitise shares for, then fill in the required fields. 
  7. Once you have filled in the fields click Digitise Shares.
  8. Once the shares have been digitised an email and a notification will be sent to alert the relevant personnel. 
  9. The final step of this process is for the company secretary to upload a copy of the original share certificate that was digitised. This can be done by clicking the Upload Old Share Certificate button in the pending offers table.
